May, 2008: Drs Victor Nwosu (MARS, Inc.) and Boazhu Guo (USDA, ARS) meet Drs. Fuhe Luo and Zhang Xinyou in Beijing China. Dr. Luo former President of the Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Guangzhoug China and General Chair of the 1st International Peanut Genome Initiative meeting, recently was promoted to high office in the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture. Victor and Boazhu were his first visitors from the USA. (Photos)
September 15-21, 2008: Dr. Zhang Xinyou, Vice President, Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences attends 2008 Georgia Peanut Tour and meets President Jimmy Carter and scientists in Tifton, GA. Dr. Zhang will lead the Chinese delegation to AAGB-2008 in Hyderabad, India and plans to host the 4th International Peanut Genome Initiative Conference in China in 2010. (Photos)
